Shakeology and my chronic illnesses



All my life I have been sick. No, I haven't had cancer or cerebral palsy..but I have always been sick. Chronic ear infections, chronic sinus infections, IBS, digestive issues, allergies, eczema..ALWAYS SOMETHING! Do you know how frustrating that can be for an adolescent/young adult? Well let me tell you, it's extremely frustrating. Co-pays at the doctor's office..being pricked by needles and NEVER did anyone mention that my diet could be causing ALL OF THESE ISSUES!!


Well guess what, IT DOES! How do I know? From real life experience. Obviously I am not a scientist or a doctor but I do know that it has changed my life for the better. Hot for Halloween Fitness Support Group


It's that time of the year! The holidays have begun and we are just getting started! I know once Halloween hits, our diet and exercise habits can kind of all go down hill from there...so I vote we put the kabosh on that before it happens! Let's get HOT for HALLOWEEN this year!!

How are we going to do it?!

-Using the 21 day fix program (meal plan, portion control/color-coded containers) and the 30 minute at home workouts!
-Replacing one meal a day with Shakeology, the healthiest meal of the day
-Using an online support group to stay motivated and on track

What is P90?

 
That crazy Tony Horton has done it again! Coming to a home near you this September, P90 is going to be available for purchase through me as your Team Beachbody coach (I'm not your coach, click here and make a FREE account so I can help you!) and here are just a few reasons I am stoked for the launch of this program.
 
1. This program is for EVERYONE! I know often when we decide to start making changes and working out, we want to jump right in with maybe P90X or Insanity type programs and frankly, our bodies just can't handle that kind of jump start. This program allows you to start at the basics and build from there. This program is the onset to fitness.
 
2. You can get your fitness on in as little as 25 minutes a day. Who doesn't love a time saver that produces results?!

    Female Body Beast Progress: Week 2


    Week 2 is in the books! I am in love with this program. I am feeling stronger each time I workout and that is something I have been craving! Here is what my schedule for week 2 looked like:

    Monday: Build Legs
    Tuesday: Build Back and Bis
    Wednesday: Build Cardio and build abs
    Thursday: Build Shoulders
    Friday: Rest Day
    Saturday: Chest/Tris
    Sunday: Build Legs

    I also am still sneaking some PiYo strength workouts in on certain days to keep my flexibility and endurance at it's highest level..

     I am learning I need to eat A LOT more protein with this program though. I have been so hungry! But it's all a learning process, right? I love his cardio too, totally my style with the high intensity intervals. I feel like I will have abs of steel once this business is done! Week 3 is looking pretty promising, it's my last week of the build phase so you know what that means? Give it everything I've got! I know it is so easy to throw in the towel when summer is coming to an end because we will have layers to rely on soon, but I refuse to let the changes of season derail my progress. You shouldn't let it either!

    Fall Into Fitness Accountability Group

    Am I the only one who feels like they put on weight during the summer? Everyone is so busy with parties and weddings, along with all of that fro yo, BBQ, and summer shandy business..it's pretty hard to NOT gain a few extra love pounds. And then we totally go into fall where we are able to start layering and no one thinks about losing those few pounds (which have probably doubled..because we all know pumpkin spice lattes are not calorie free) until they start thinking bikinis after the New Year. Well this year, I am offering you all the chance to FALL BACK INTO FITNESS!! Let's shed the summer fluff and beat the winter blues by participating in a 21 day fat blaster support group starting September 15th!


    So what are the requirements?
    -A good, positive attitude
    -21 day commitment

    -Use of 21 day fix program to ensure proper portion control and appropriate meal planning!

    Because our weight loss is 80% nutrition. I know that sounds crazy. As a society we all tend to workout and feel like we can eat whatever we want, but unfortunately that's not true! We have to fuel our bodies with the right nutrients and calories in order for it to perform at it's greatest level! This program teaches you the ins and outs of proper meal planning, portion control, and uses moderate exercise to get you those results you've been wanting all summer.
